44 Offence in relation to samples
A person must not—
(a)
remove, alter or interfere in any way with any sample taken under this Act; or
(b)
erase, alter, open, break or remove a mark, seal or fastening placed by an authorised officer on any part of a sample taken under this Act.
- For a first offence, 50 penalty units.
For a subsequent offence, 100 penalty units or 12 months imprisonment or both.
