22A Collection, use and disclosure of criminal record information by Court Services Victoria
Court Services Victoria may collect or use, or disclose to any person as part of the disclosure of the criminal record of a person or information contained in the criminal record of a person, a spent conviction or information relating to a spent conviction if the collection, use or disclosure of the information—
is for the purpose of supporting a court or tribunal in the performance of a function; and
would be permitted under this Act if that function were performed by that court or tribunal.
Subsection (1) applies to the collection, use or disclosure of a spent conviction or information relating to a spent conviction by a person who is—

acting in the course of the person's duty.
