Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority Act 2025

A reference to the Department Head as the Regulatory Authority for the purposes of the Education and Care Services National Law (Victoria) in any Act or in any instrument (including a subordinate instrument) made under or for the purposes of any Act, or in any other document (by whatever name) prepared or made under or for the purposes of any Act, must be construed as a reference to the Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority—

so far as the reference relates to any period on or after the commencement day; and

if not inconsistent with the subject matter.

A reference to the Department Head as the Regulatory Authority for the purposes of the Children's Services Act 1996 in any Act or in any instrument (including a subordinate instrument) made under or for the purposes of any Act, or in any other document (by whatever name) prepared or made under or for the purposes of any Act, must be construed as a reference to the Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority—

so far as the reference relates to any period on or after the commencement day; and

if not inconsistent with the subject matter.

A reference to the Department Head as the integrated sector regulator for early childhood education and care services for the purposes of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 in any Act or in any instrument (including a subordinate instrument) made under or for the purposes of any Act, or in any other document (by whatever name) prepared or made under or for the purposes of any Act, must be construed as a reference to the Victorian Early Childhood Regulatory Authority—

so far as the reference relates to any period on or after the commencement day; and

if not inconsistent with the subject matter.
