20 Criteria for categorisation as critically endangered species
A native species is eligible for listing in the category of critically endangered species at a particular time if, at that time —
(a)
it is facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild in the immediate future, as determined in accordance with criteria set out in the ministerial guidelines; and
(b)
listing in that category is otherwise in accordance with the ministerial guidelines.
