139 Storage of sandalwood

(1)

A person must not store any specifically controlled sandalwood unless —

(a)

the person is the holder of a licence that authorises the storage of that sandalwood at the place at which it is being stored; or

(b)

the person is acting under an authorisation given by the CEO for the purposes of this regulation.

Penalty for this subregulation: a fine of $25 000.

(2)

Subregulation (1) does not apply in relation to specifically controlled sandalwood if it has been processed under a flora processing (sandalwood) licence for commercial purposes.
