192 Regulations and codes of practice: consultation

(1)

Before regulations are made under this Act, or a code of practice is issued or approved, the Minister must, as far as is appropriate and reasonably practicable to undertake, consult with public authorities, community and producer organisations and other bodies and persons which or who appear to the Minister to be likely to be affected by, or interested in, in a significant way, the regulations or code of practice, as the case requires.

(2)

Consultation may be undertaken in any way that the Minister thinks appropriate in the circumstances, having regard to the number of persons who will be likely to be so affected or interested.
