35 Suspension of building or demolition permit
A permit does not have effect during the period starting from the day on which —
(a)
a notice of cessation is received by the permit authority under section 34; or
(b)
the responsible person’s registration, approval or authority under the Registration Act or any other written law, that entitles the person to be named as builder or demolition contractor on the permit, ceases to have effect,
and ending on the first of the following days —
(c)
the day that a relevant authority approves a new responsible person for the work to which the permit applies;
(d)
the day on which the permit ceases to have effect under section 32(1) or (2).
