112 Sheriff unable to act, court’s powers

(1)

If the sheriff, due to a conflict of interest or any other reason, is unable to perform any of his or her functions under an order made under this Act, the court that made the order may appoint another person to perform the functions.

(2)

A person who is appointed under subsection (1) to perform any functions has, when performing those functions, the functions and protection that the sheriff would have had.
