372 Existing foreign co‑operatives
(1)
This section applies to a body that —
(a)
immediately before the commencement of the Co‑operatives Amendment Act 2016 section 130 is, or is taken under section 371 to be, a foreign co‑operative authorised under this Part to carry on business in this State; and
(b)
is not registered or incorporated under a corresponding co‑operatives law.
(2)
The co‑operative is taken to be a participating co‑operative authorised under this Part to carry on business in this State, and this Part applies with all necessary modifications.
