39 Payment of amount determined and interest
(1)
A party that is liable to pay an amount under a determination must do so on or before the date specified in the determination.
(2)
Unless the determination provides otherwise, interest at the rate prescribed under the Civil Judgments Enforcement Act 2004 section 8(1)(a) is to be paid on such of the amount as is unpaid after the date specified in the determination.
(3)
The interest to be paid under subsection (2) forms part of the determination.
(4)
Interest under subsection (2) ceases to accrue when a copy of the determination is filed in a court under section 43.
