21 Directions by State Coroner
(1)
With the prior approval of the Chief Magistrate of the Magistrates Court, the State Coroner may give to a coroner directions about investigations into deaths generally and the manner in which they are to be conducted.
(2)
The State Coroner may give to a coroner directions about an investigation into a particular death, including a direction to cease to investigate that death or a direction to make such findings as are possible under section 25(1) in relation to that death by a day specified in the direction.
