38I Person conducting relevant pet shop business to provide certain information
A person who conducts a relevant pet shop business must ensure that —
any person who is supplied with a dog in the course of the relevant pet shop business is provided, before the dog is supplied, with —
the prescribed information about the person who supplied the dog to the relevant pet shop business; and
the pet shop number for the pet shop;
and
any person to whom the supply of a dog is offered in the course of the relevant pet shop business is, if the person requests, provided with —
the prescribed information about the person who supplied the dog to the relevant pet shop business; and
the pet shop number for the pet shop.
Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
