Person conducting relevant pet shop business to provide copy of health certificate

Current

A person who conducts a relevant pet shop business must ensure that —

(a)

any person who is supplied with a dog in the course of the relevant pet shop business is provided, before the dog is supplied, with a copy of the health certificate for the dog; and

(b)

any person to whom the supply of a dog is offered in the course of the relevant pet shop business is, if the person requests, provided with a copy of the health certificate for the dog.

Penalty: a fine of $5 000.
