Child witness entitled to support

106E Child witness entitled to support

(1)

A child is entitled, while he or she is giving evidence in any proceeding in a court, to have near to him or her a person who may provide the child with support.

(2)

The person referred to in subsection (1) is to be approved by the court and is not to be a person who is a witness in or a party to the proceeding.
