209 Unlawful alteration of licence card
(1)
A person commits an offence if the person, without lawful authority —
(a)
alters a licence card; or
(b)
uses, or has in their possession, a licence card that has been altered without lawful authority.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $5 000.
(2)
Any alteration made to a licence card by a police officer or employee of the Department is taken to have been made with lawful authority.
