211 Surrender of physical licence card
In this section —
physical licence card means a licence card that is not in electronic or digital format.
A person who ceases to be a licensed person because of the expiry of the term of or cancellation of a relevant licence must as soon as practicable surrender a physical licence card issued to the person for the relevant licence to a police officer.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $2 000.
Subsection (2) does not require a person to surrender a physical licence card after the expiry of the term of the relevant licence —
while an application for the renewal of the relevant licence is permitted to be made; or
if an application for renewal is made during that period, until the application is determined or withdrawn.
