12 Disabled parking

(1)

A person must not park or stand a vehicle in an area designated for the parking or standing of vehicles of disabled persons unless —

(a)

a disabled person is the driver of, or a passenger in, the vehicle; and

(b)

the vehicle is identified in accordance with rule 11(2).

(2)

If a person parks or stands a vehicle of a disabled person in a paid parking station, other than in an area designated for the parking or standing of vehicles of disabled persons, the person must pay any applicable charge in accordance with rule 14.
