4 Application of these regulations
(1)
Subject to subregulation (2), the processes of alcohol or drug testing set out in these regulations are to be carried out on a member.
(2)
The processes of alcohol or drug testing set out in these regulations cannot be carried out on a member unless that member is on duty or is recalled to duty for that purpose.
(3)
The processes of alcohol or drug testing set out in these regulations should be carried out in a manner that respects a member’s dignity and privacy to the extent possible without compromising the integrity of the testing process.
