41 Duration of restraining order
(1)
A restraining order takes effect when it is served on the person against whom it is made or, if a later time is specified in the order, at that time.
(2)
Unless it is cancelled sooner, a restraining order remains in effect for the period specified in the order or, if no period is specified, for one year from the day on which it took effect.
