85 Board to assess complaint
The Board must assess each complaint as soon as practicable after it is made.
The Board may, for the purposes of assessing a complaint, do 1 or more of the following —
investigate the complaint in any way it considers appropriate;
under section 112 direct an inspector to investigate the complaint;
under section 129(1) require the respondent to undergo a health assessment.
When assessing a complaint, the Board may take into account the following —
any information obtained as a result of an investigation of the complaint;
any report on a health assessment, or information provided, under section 132;
any discussion with the respondent under section 133(4);
any other information the Board considers relevant.
