Electoral Act 1992

The commissioner shall, so far as practicable, keep the rolls up to date.

The commissioner may alter a roll at any time as follows:

to register any change of name;

to bring up to date any particulars appearing on the roll;

to correct any mistake or omission;

to remove the name of a deceased elector;

in relation to a person who is enrolled on the Commonwealth roll—to reflect any alteration under the Commonwealth Electoral Act, section 105 in relation to that enrolment.
