Electoral Act 1992

The Chief Minister may arrange with the Governor-General for—

the preparation, alteration or revision of the rolls; or

the carrying out of any procedure relating to the preparation, alteration or revision of the rolls;

jointly by the Commonwealth and the Territory.

If such an arrangement is in force, a roll may contain—

the names and particulars of persons who are enrolled as electors of the Commonwealth but not as electors of the ACT, provided that it is clearly indicated that they are not enrolled as electors of the ACT; and

distinguishing marks against the names of persons enrolled as electors of the ACT but not as electors of the Commonwealth, to show that they are not electors of the Commonwealth; and

other particulars in addition to those required by or under this Act to be included in the roll;

and, for this Act, the names of electors of the Commonwealth who are not enrolled as electors of the ACT and those marks and particulars shall not be taken to be part of the roll.
