67 Power to require information
The commissioner may, by written notice, require—
the head of service; or
a director-general; or
the chief executive officer (however described) of a territory authority or of an entity prescribed under the regulations; or
the occupier of any residence;
to give to the commissioner or a specified officer specified information required in connection with the preparation, maintenance or revision of a roll.

A notice shall specify the time within which the information is to be so given.
A person who, without reasonable excuse, contravenes such a requirement commits an offence.
Maximum penalty: 5 penalty units.
Subsection (3) does not apply if compliance with the requirement would involve the disclosure of information in contravention of any other law.
