69 Disclosure of roll information

(1)

A person to whom this section applies shall not, without reasonable excuse, give a copy of a roll, an extract from a roll, or information contained on a roll, to another person except for this Act.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.

(2)

This section applies to a person who is, or has been—

(a)

the commissioner; or

(b)

an officer; or

(c)

a member of the staff of the electoral commission.
