86 No contracting out
(1)
This Act has effect in relation to a registered worker despite anything to the contrary in a term of the worker’s contract.
(2)
A provision of a registered worker’s contract is void to the extent that it—
(a)
is inconsistent with this Act; and
(b)
has the effect of excluding, restricting or reducing the rights given to the worker under this Act.
(3)
However, the registered worker’s contract applies to the extent that it gives the worker rights that are more beneficial than the rights given to the worker under this Act.
