370 Authorisation under sch 1 to obtain and possess medicines—Act, s 35 (1) (b), (2) (b) and s 36 (b)
A person mentioned in schedule 1, column 2 is authorised to obtain a medicine if obtaining the medicine—
is included in the schedule, column 3 in relation to the person; and
is consistent with any restriction for obtaining the medicine mentioned in the schedule, column 3.
A person mentioned in schedule 1, column 2 is authorised to possess a medicine if—
possessing the medicine is included in the schedule, column 3 in relation to the person; and
the possession is consistent with any restriction for the possession mentioned in the schedule, column 3.
371 Authorisation to obtain and possess medicines for certain personal use-related dealings—Act, s 35 (1) (b), (2) (b) and s 36 (b)
A person is authorised to obtain or possess a medicine if the person obtains the medicine from someone who is authorised to supply the medicine to the person.
Subsection (1) applies in relation to a person whether the medicine is obtained by the person for the person’s own use or as an agent for someone else.
