24 Earmarking—stock kept for fleece etc

(1)

The owner of large stock kept for the commercial value of its fleece or hide may apply, in writing, to the director‑general for approval to place an earmark on the stock.

(2)

The director‑general must give the approval if satisfied that the stock is kept for the commercial value of its fleece or hide.
