Time limit for making complaints

In force

(1)

A person may make a complaint about the conduct of a veterinary practitioner whenever the conduct is alleged to have happened.

(2)

However, the board is not required to investigate a complaint if the complaint is made more than 3 years after the conduct is alleged to have happened, unless the board decides it is just and fair to investigate the complaint having regard to the delay and the reasons for the delay.
