10 Meaning of homicide
(1)
In this Act:
homicide means an act that—
(a)
occurs on or after the commencement of this Act; and
(b)
results in the death of a person; and
(c)
is, or happens in the course of, an offence of murder, manslaughter or culpable driving causing death.
(2)
For the definition of homicide, it does not matter if the person who commits the offence lacks the legal capacity to be charged with, or convicted or found guilty of, the offence.
