If the Chief Executive Medicare requests the Director to review the provision of services by a person, the Director may request the Chief Executive Medicare to provide further information in relation to the provision of those services.
The Director may request further information from the Chief Executive Medicare either for the purpose of making a decision whether to undertake a review or for the purposes of a review.
A request under subsection (1) may relate to any or all of the services provided by the person during the review period.
The Chief Executive Medicare must comply with a request under subsection (1) so far as he or she is capable of doing so.
