Lifting beams, spreaders, lifting frames, magnetic lifting devices and vacuum lifting devices

If a lifting beam, spreader, lifting frame, magnetic lifting device or vacuum lifting device is tested, the proof load must be:

(a)

at least the load mentioned in Table 6 for it; and

(b)

attached in the way for which the article is designed.

After testing the article, it must be examined by a competent person for damage or permanent deformation.
