Crimes (Sentencing Procedure) Act 1999

Except in so far as the context or subject matter otherwise indicates or requires or the regulations otherwise provide, a reference (however expressed) in another Act, or statutory rule under another Act, to—

a home detention order, is taken to include a reference to an intensive correction order that is subject to a home detention condition, and

a community service order, is taken to include a reference to a community correction order, and

a good behaviour bond, is taken to include a reference to a community correction order or a conditional release order or both.

A reference in any legislation to an assigned officer (within the meaning of the Crimes (Administration of Sentences) Act 1999) is taken to include a reference to a community corrections officer.
