35 Notification of defects
The master and owner of a ship with a defect that substantially affects the integrity or operation of the sewage system on the ship must ensure that TfNSW is notified of the defect—
(a)
in writing, and
(b)
within 24 hours after the defect is discovered.
Maximum penalty—
(a)
for an individual—$1,100, or
(b)
otherwise—$5,500.
