56 Transfer of vessel registration certificates
(1)
The vessel registration certificate for a vessel is taken to be transferred to the person acquiring the vessel when the responsible regulator issues the vessel registration certificate to the person.
(2)
The responsible regulator is taken to have refused the transfer if the vessel registration certificate is not issued to the person within 60 days after the person notified the responsible regulator under this division.
