18 Decisions about applications
After receiving an application for an authorisation, the Corporation may, by written notice served on the applicant—
grant the authorisation, or
refuse to grant the authorisation.
Without limiting subsection (1), the Corporation may refuse to grant an authorisation if—
in the Corporation’s opinion, the applicant has previously—
carried out the kind of work to which the Act, section 48A(1) applies in contravention of the Act, this regulation or a direction given under this regulation, or
otherwise contravened the Act, this regulation or a direction given under this regulation, or
the application for the authorisation is incomplete.
