Northern Territory Aboriginal Sacred Sites Act 1989

Subject to the conditions, if any, of an Authority Certificate or a Minister's

Certificate, a person may enter and remain on a sacred site with the approval of the custodians of the site or the Authority provided that the person does so in accordance with the conditions, if any, to which the approval is subject.

In this section:

approval includes a permit issued under section 29, and a written permission referred to in section 31(4), of the repealed Acts in effect immediately before the commencement of this Act;

Authority includes the Authority under the repealed Acts.
