Voluntary compliance plans

In force

(1) A person may submit to the NT EPA a draft compliance plan if he or she:

(a)

conducts an activity; and

(b) is of the opinion that it is not practicable to comply with a provision of the Regulations, or of an environment protection objective, that came into effect after the commencement of the activity.

(2) A draft compliance plan submitted to the NT EPA under subsection (1) is not admissible as evidence in proceedings for an offence against the provision of the Act specified in the plan in accordance with section 56(c).
