205 Appointment of members
(1)
The members of the tribunal are to be appointed by the Governor in Council.
(2)
The chairperson is to be appointed on a part-time or full-time basis, and the deputy chairpersons and other members are to be appointed on a part-time basis.
(3)
A member of the tribunal is to be appointed under this Act, and not under the Public Sector Act 2022.
(4)
Nothing in this Act prevents the chairperson also holding office as the chairperson or other member of the Land Tribunal established for the purposes of the Torres Strait Islander Land Act 1991.
