206 Qualifications for appointment
A person is not eligible for appointment as chairperson or deputy chairperson of the Land Tribunal unless the person is a barrister, solicitor, barrister and solicitor or legal practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of the State, another State or a Territory of not less than 5 years standing.
A person is not eligible for appointment as a non-presiding member of the Land Tribunal unless the person—
has, in the opinion of the Governor in Council, suitable knowledge of Aboriginal people or Aboriginal tradition; or
has had experience, for not less than 5 years, at a high level in industry, commerce, public administration, industrial relations, the practice of a profession or the service of a government or an authority of a government.
