(1)
The Minister must appoint the State Coroner or a Deputy State Coroner as the chairperson of the board.
(2)
The chairperson holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as chairperson.
(3)
The chairperson is responsible for leading and directing the activities of the board to ensure the board performs its functions appropriately.
