28 Selection of couplings and drawbar eyes for road trains
A drawbar-type coupling, or drawbar eye, used in a road train must—
(a)
be a 50mm pin type; and
(b)
have a D-value complying with AS 2213-1984 ‘50 mm Pin-Type Couplings and Drawbar Eyes for Trailers’; and
(c)
be built to the dimensions mentioned in the standard; and
(d)
not be worn away more than is recommended in the standard.
