27 Offences in respect of permits

(1)

A person shall not contravene or fail to comply with a condition specified in a permit issued to the person or specified in a permit issued to another person on whose behalf the person is acting on a particular occasion.Maximum penalty—$1000.

(2)

A permit is not transferable.

(2A)

A person shall not, by delivery or otherwise, purport to transfer to another person a permit or the entitlements conferred on the person as a person to whom a permit is issued.Maximum penalty—$1000.

(3)

During a period of emergency a person shall, while in charge of a vehicle, vessel or aircraft to which liquid fuel in relation to which the emergency is declared to exist has been supplied pursuant to a permit—

(a)

carry the permit with him or her in the vehicle; and

(b)

upon the request of an authorised person, produce the permit for inspection by that authorised person.

Maximum penalty—$500.
