(1)

A person must not, directly or indirectly, disclose any information received under section 120 or 121 to another person unless the disclosure is allowed under subsection (2).

Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

(2)

The person may make the disclosure to another person—

(a)

to the extent necessary to perform the person’s functions under this Act; or

(b)

for the purpose of the other person performing a function under this Act; or

(c)

if the disclosure is authorised under an Act; or

(d)

if the disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law; or

(e)

if the person to whom the information relates consents to the disclosure.
