12 Underground water units and underground water sub-units
The underground water management area includes the following aquifers (each an underground water unit)—
the St George Alluvium (shallow);
the St George Alluvium (deep);
the sediments above the Great Artesian Basin;
the Upper Condamine Alluvium (Central Condamine Alluvium);
the Upper Condamine Alluvium (Tributaries);
the Upper Condamine Basalts;
the Condamine Fractured Rock;
the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin deep.
The Upper Condamine Basalts, in the Nobby Basalts underground water sub-area, is made up of the following aquifers (each an underground water sub-unit)—
for underground water to which this plan applies above the aquitard in the Upper Condamine Basalts—the Upper Condamine Basalts (Nobby Basalts shallow);
for underground water to which this plan applies below the aquitard in the Upper Condamine Basalts—the Upper Condamine Basalts (Nobby Basalts deep).
