Offence to fail to report the amendment or cancellation of a contract

In force

A licensed grower who holds a poppy cultivation licence under section 30D(1) must report to the Chief Executive within 3 business days any amendment to a contract registered in the alkaloid poppy register that does 1 or more of the following:

(a)

amends the duration of the contract;

(b)

amends the maximum quantity of alkaloid poppies that may be cultivated under the contract;

(c)

amends the date the contract expires;

(d)

cancels the contract.

Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty: $15 000.
