33 Publication of information and evidence

(1)

A person must not, except as authorised by the Commissioner or a court, publish, or cause to be published information or evidence relating to a complaint. Maximum penalty: Maximum penalty:

(a)

in the case of a body corporate—$150 000;

(b)

in the case of a natural person—$30 000.

(2)

In this section—

publish means publish by—

(a)

newspaper, radio or television; or

(b)

Internet or other electronic means of creating and sharing content with the public or participating in social networking with the public; or

(c)

any similar means of communication to the public.
