14A Sitting or acting outside State
If the Court is required to perform its functions at a place outside the State, the Minister may appoint as a member of the non‑judicial staff of the Court at the place—
a person who holds office as a registrar or other officer of a court of the jurisdiction in which the place is located; or
any other person.
The Courts Administration
Act 1993 applies—
with any modifications and exclusions required by the context;
and
with prescribed modifications and exclusions, in relation to an appointment (and to the person subject to an appointment) under subsection (1).
The conditions of service of a person appointed under subsection (1) will be as determined by the
Minister.
A person appointed under subsection (1)(a) ceases to hold office if the person ceases to hold office as an officer of the court of the other jurisdiction.
A member of the Court's administrative and ancillary staff may, with the approval of the State Courts Administrator, concurrently hold office as an officer of a court of another jurisdiction.
