5 Employment and classification
(1)
The Chief Executive may appoint a prescribed employee to a classification level determined by the Chief
Executive.
(2)
The board may determine the qualifications required for appointment of a person as a prescribed employee.
(3)
However, the Chief Executive may appoint as a prescribed employee a person who does not have all of the required qualifications.
(4)
The Chief Executive may, if a prescribed employee applies for a position at a lower classification level than the employee's existing position, appoint the employee to that position.
