117 Prosecutions for offences against this Act
Proceedings for an offence against this Act shall not be commenced except by, or with the written consent of, the Director of Public Prosecutions.
A prosecution for an offence against this Act may be instituted at any time within 12 months after the commission of the offence or within 6 months after the commission of the offence comes to the knowledge of the complainant, whichever last occurs.
Proof of the time when the commission of any such offence came to the knowledge of the complainant lies on the complainant.
