15 Herd health program required
In this regulation – herd health program, in respect of two or more pigs kept together, means a documented management program that identifies potential health risks to the pigs and provides for relevant action to be taken to prevent or minimise those risks.
A person who keeps two or more pigs must ensure that a herd health program is in place to manage biosecurity risks associated with the pigs. In the case of – a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units; or a natural person, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
